Back to school.....high school?

This fall i'm going into high school. I'm a bit nervous. Do you have any advice you could give me on fashion, clothes, make-up and hair?

I'm going for kind of a preppy style.

How can I be really Confident?

Any other advice you can give me about high school?

What trends do people wear alot, please don't say certain stores.

i'm also kind of shy , i really want to break out of my shell, how can i do that?

Join a lot of sports.

This will build your confidence, keep your grades up, and make lots of friends!

Go for your own look and at all costs...

avoid the stupid high school drama and get over it.

Don't cry over spilled milk ya know?

Remember, no one will remember the stupid drama in 10 years.

Keep your head in the game and stay away from drugs.

get what ever clothes make you feel good. like AE, abercrombie, aero, and that kind of thing. for being confident.

i started high school last year. the first day is pretty scary, but trust me it gets better. just make sure you stick with your real friends because they will stay with you throughout highschool. just be confident and talk to everybody. wear what you like and not what other people are wearing. if you are preppy just wear cute hoodies on relaxed days and on normal days just jeans and t shirt. oh and listen to your parents they love you no matter what. keep your head held high. and believe in god, he is the reason for living.

Back to school.....high school?

Dress how YOU want to dress, not whatever the current 'fad' is. This will destroy you in highschool. If you dress preppy and you really aren't a prep, you will make the wrong friends, and that is something you don't want to do. Wear what you want, have your hair how you want. Don't worry, people will notice the real you, and want to be friends with that person, not some washed up fake. Being an alumni for some time now, I noticed nothing has changed at all.

I wasn't 'shy' in highschool, I just never talked to anyone unless I was spoken to. I went there, got my work done, and 'played' after. I became popular because of that, and I wasn't even trying. Just do what feels comfortable to you and don't put on a false front. Building confidence is something that just happens, and being a fake won't net you any.

All in all, be yourself.
