Women Only!!!?

Ok this is totally gross but i had to ask someone. Why is it when i dont' shave down there I kind of get a funny smell from the discharge trying in my pubic hair. I really don't want to shave everything off, and i currently know that this is the trend, but when i ovulate and produce more discharge it kind of dries in my hair, and creates a smell. What can I do about this? I don't have stds bc i am not sexually active, so please don't say anything about that. Also, it's not a HORRIBLE smell, but it does not smell like roses either. How normal is that?!?? Maybe it's bc I have been taking baths and not showers.

Women Only!!!?

Hair traps odor. You don't always need to shave you can keep it trimmed and try wearing pantyliners to help. If you wash everyday it shouldn't be a problem.

Women Only!!!?

Well I am not sure on this one.....Maybe you could trim it up a bit??

Women Only!!!?

just make sure you are completely dry from the bath. Every woman smells different...

Women Only!!!?

Don't worry; this is normal, and it's for exactly the reason you've stated; it gets in your hair.

Maybe you should try taking showers so you're not sitting in dirty water. Just make sure you clean your area every day and you should be fine.

Women Only!!!?

You don't have to shave just trim. It's not a trend it's just more sanitary. Although washing it might help. Maybe you should try tampons?

Women Only!!!?

just buy some baby wipes and wipe down there when you go potty and get some fds spray you are fine no worries and during ovulation just wear a mini pad during the 3 days

you are fine

I shave just the lower portion, for exactly the same reason. I was shaving LONG before it became fashionable, and will continue to do so long after bush is back.

If you don't want to shave, then consider trimming neatly with scissors. Or waxing.

As for the odor issue, be sure to bathe daily. Method shouldn't matter...just be sure to rinse and dry the area thoroughly. And use personal cleansing wipes after EVERY trip to the bathroom.

if you don't want to shave, then just trim the hair around there short

i have more discharge when i ovulate as well, and it can have an odor

but if you are really worried , i would recommend you seeing either your regular doc or a gynocologist.

Women Only!!!?

I had the same problem so

now i shave my bikini line the bits around that area

and just keep the rest trimmed =)

Women Only!!!?

lol...i answered a question like this but yeah..i do have discharge like you, and yeah its helps to shave, not completely, but just until your comfortable. Like the other one i answered, you cant stop discharge, its normal. It has nothing to do with taking either baths or showers, just make sure you take either one everyday to keep fresh and wear cotton undies!

Women Only!!!?

well, its either your natural smell or you may have a yeast infection... you dont have to be sexually active to have one.
