Do you care about what other people think? why or why not?

i sometimes care depending on the situation. if i'm trying to get a job, or make a good impression on someone, then i take into consideration what they might think of me, however, when it comes to my wardrobe, my hair, makeup, or any other physicality then i could care less really. i love setting my own rules in fashion and being creative and different. i hate following trends, especially if i don't even like them.

I agree with you 100%.

Good for you. I don't care what people think either. I used to before I realized that most people are liars and backstabbers.

I used to care how people felt about me not anymore cause all it does is make one sick unto death if one do not let this sickness go. The way I deal with it now is that I don't care how one feel and attend to my own feelings and let life be. Meaning they can or cannot accept it and I not worried about it.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Your personal life is your own. You would never be satisfied if you cared too much what others said and tried to change your behaviour to 'fit in'. If you do that, you're not really fitting in because you're not really YOU. I once became a juniour forest ranger (a program for students). On the 1st day there, one student complained that some eggs were not sunny-side-up. He was rebuffed for this - the woman cook was sensitive. From then on she cooked all eggs sunny-side up. Later, everyone was complaining in our cabin, because she only cooked them sunny-side up. The one who asked for them that way was most vocal. When there was a lull in the conversation I simply said, "She cooked them that way ever since you asked for them that way". The cabin was deathly silent, and no one complained about the cooking again. That was me fitting in.
