Eye liner and make up for men?

What do you think of the trend of men wearing eyeliner and base, having their hair dyed, highlighted and permed, their eyebrows and eyelashes tinted, finger nails manicured....... men waxing their legs and backs and I do not mean gay men but straight hetrosexual men. You even get Beauty ranges especially for men.

I couldnt agree with you more in your previous answer. It seems it is all part of this Liberal madness that has invaded the World where anything and everything goes. Anyone who speaks out against it is a racist, bigot or living in the past.

Its time men returned to their roots and got back to spitting and farting in Public glaring with intent at anyone who dare object.Wearing deodarant etc is one thing but behaving like a fanny is another.

I think it is retarted..

I mean guys need 2 just stick with shaving their beard and stuff..

BUT I do think guys should make sure they dont have bushy eye brows I HATE THAT!!!!!

Eye liner and make up for men?

Gawd.. there was a bit of that with men in the 80s, thank God it didn't last long. .. Don't tell me it's coming back!

Eye liner and make up for men?

Dont the Goths and Emo's do that?

I think half of those things just sound too weird, imagine waiting for your husband to finish touching up his make up whilst you wait at the door/warm up the car... yeesh!

If I dont use it, I dont see why he should. But if its for taking care of his skin and smelling nice and clean

Eye liner and make up for men?

What I know for sure is that I would not want to fight for a mirror with my man in the morning when we are getting ready for work. Men should be clean and neat but putting on make up? That's just not on!!!

I want to be proud of my husband when i am with him, not others thinking 'what the hell? when they see him - lol Micheal Jackson should be enough warning - and i also don't like a guy wearing a lot of jewelery except for the watch and wedding band and maybe a chain - there is nothing wrong with looking after yourself up to a point when enough is enough - men should smell and be clean and i love Old Spice products for men but some others is to close to perfume

The more precise description is metro sexual, and i personally don't approve, the only exception is acting and TV, but only on set.

No thank you very much.

Some of the stuff just borders on alright, like creams and stuff, but actual make up is just waaay too overboard (if youre not a goth, and even then its black).

I saw some arty-farty type on Top Billing the other night and his nails were RED. I couldnt watch after that, my eyes were stuck on those red nails wondering "wtf?".

So boys wanna be girls....by wearing makeup, and perfume that smells like girly stuff.....

But.....dare call them a girl and all hell breaks lose.

My gay best friend reckons that boys who wear girly stuff...it's their way of experimenting with the "other" side. That or they are buried very deep in the pink glitter closet. :)

I can't stand men that smell like women....have you smelt some of the "male perfume"? yuck.

What happened to the good old days when men smelt like men, men looked like men.....

And don't get me started on male make-up....unless you're goth, emo, going to a fancy dress party, wanna be a drag queen (are one) or in a stage show....leave the make-up to the women.

I can go with dying their hair, and highlights. Permed is a bit off putting, for me anyway.

I can't bare men , or anyone with dirty nails, so if they can't do it themselves, so their nails look nice and clean, then it's ok. But no nail polish, even clear nail polish. Worse, are men who have ugly dirty toenails. They should have them done.

As for having their chests, backs and and legs waxed. That is just going way too far. Cyclists, do have to shave their legs, because of the cycling pants, but that is a valid reason. Eyeliner and eyelash tinting, is RIDICLOUS

As for men's cosmetics, well, the cosmetic companies will do anything for a few million extra dollars. And the "yuppie" crowd will go with anything.

But I do like a man to wear deodorant a nice after shave lotion.

I'm not into the caveman smell.

Eye liner and make up for men?

the on;y thing of the above that i do is to dye my grey hair

Eye liner and make up for men?

No eye make up etc for men, thanks.

Hair dying, streaks, bleaching, highlights are all fine.

Perms, no. Rather use gel or wax, please.

Finger nails manicured, fine. I love men with well manicured hands, looks better that those with nail clipper chopped off rough edges.

Eyebrows, please pluck them if they are too bushy!

Hairy backs and chest: please stay as is, we are primates, after all!!

Good facial care, yes! There are enough products on the market already. BUT, men would maybe not use them, so it is good that there is a range that addresses men.

What I loathe: All this metal - studs in the nose, eyebrows, lips etc.!! An earring is fine.

What's happening to the manly image...oy!

Anywho, there's this guy who works at this clothes shop (sort of like Stuttafords) and he weras all that because he works in the make-up section. I dunno, I'm not for it. There's nothing wrong with a man looking after himself...but make-up?
