Ok I've seen so many girl fights in the past couple years now it's starting to get a little crazy. I live near a high school so I'm sure that has something to do with it, but jeez I have lost count. Girls can really get nasty when they fight too. I've seen blood, and pulled out hair, and stuff like that. Is there a long term trend here?

I think it *is* a trend. Girls get into about as many fights as boys these days. And yea, it's not just lower class. Maybe it used to be, but not today.

Fem-fighting is a class phenomena. Middle-to-upper class girls never fight. The lower class does. (There are exceptions.)
Feminism gave girls the freedom to act as they wish. The wise ones used this freedom to further manipulate men.

I remember seeing chicks fight when I was in school (too long ago to go into now). And when they fight, they go at it right. None of this puffin' up and talking trash, like guys do. They plow into it. Really cool.

The worst thing is once they get started they don't know when to stop. Often the victor has to be dragged off the other poor girl lying on the ground curled in a ball. I think girls fighting like this is a recent social trend, and I think boys have become more vicious too i.e. there are fewer rules e.g. never hit someone once they are unconscious.
Similarly, I've seen so many verbal arguments in the workplace started by women, and they never seem to end either. Is it hormones (as one answer suggests)? I don't know. Some women have big emotional problems for a few days of the month, that's for sure. I think it is probably part of the social trend of women/girls thinking that they have to be assertive and act like men or else they are not fully equal. Very sad.

Lack or morals, self control, logic, care for others, and common sense.
Fighting should be done to defend oneself or others if it's needed, but they seem to only care about how they feel at the moment. All else fades away when a woman feels an emotion. Oh, and of course, they LOVE attention. Fighting begets attention.
Boys fight to better themselves. It's a self preservation instinct. Most men will always have an urge to test ourselves and make sure that we can handle a really bad situation in the future. If I have never fought before and someone were to attack me and my girl as we were walking to the car some night then we're dead. I'd much rather be able to defend us.
But I'd never get into a fight with someone just because they called me fat or something along those lines.
