like almost everyone looks the exact same......same hair cut. same dark black eyeliner. all trying to look different or "goth" or "emo" or whatever!!! and then there's all the effing preps!!! ugh....im just so sick of everyone sometimes....does anyone else just like go out and see everyone that looks the same and is acting the same and think to urself "this is so stupid"? i mean, honestly i follow quite a few trends u know....but really i just do what i like. mainly im sick of the ppl (mainly girls) who like r taking pics of themselves and trying to look different and not smiling with their straight hair and side swept bangs and its like most of the time like white and black, or black, or dark brown or something.then they all have like TONS of black eyeliner.....i mean it was cool at first.......but now im just sick of it!!! anyone else with me? and please people if u act or dress like this, don't take any offense. its just my stupid opinion......

yea, I agree,everybody is wearing at least 1000lbs of makeup so that they can look cute. It just disgust me when people are wearing heavy eyeliners, fake eyelashes and a face covered with powder. They never understand how fake it looks, if I was a guy, I would throw up.

i love this generation and i could be considered a prep by the way i dress. but i spin the fashion my own way and yeah if i feel like wearing jeans and a teeshirt to school i'll wear it. i do hate how everyone is trying to be emo and goth though.

I completely agree. I go a bit diiferent. Ok, a lot different. Awesome NATURAL red hair, layered to 3 inches below the shoulder, naturally curly, NO EYELINER OR MAKUP (ok maybe a bit of lip gloss). But yah im sick of it too!

YES! It makes me HATE my fellow teenagers. The stupid scene kids, and then the emos and the preps, barely anyone is THEMSELVES anymore! And then, when you look different, or do something original, people immediately go copy it and make it their stereotype. Ugh.

I do hate feeling like I have to follow the trends to be considered attractive. Why is it not enough to just look good? Why do I have to look the same as everyone else? What if I like my look better? Ugh

No, I dont hate it. I dress prep but I do it the way I way feel. I'm comfortable in the clothes because the fits made by the companies are nice. And the graphics and colors are nice also. I dont like the emo's they make American society look depressing and demonic. I notice you didn't mention the terrible degradingAfrican-American style of guys showing their a$$ and the h()e's showing their ****. I'm not saying everyone is a bad person by the way they dress but it's the way they feel like dressing and I guess it's ok. On alot of white gurls the straight hair and side swept bangs look really good but some of the ones that do it don't look good at all. Some people look good in the way they dress but others don't. When I go to Church or out with my girlfriend I dress more appropriate. Like I wear a nice shirt and sports coat or a more finer brand like Polo, Saddlebred etc. to church and depending on the where we go i usually wear a nice shirt and khakis if the place is nicer or to the movies or shopping I dress according to what she says shes going to wear. We look alot better matching I think. But let them dress how they want and feel comfortable in. I guess theres nothing you can do. No one be offended by the opinions I just stated.
