I think the hairstyle you picked would look great on you. Just grow your hair out to that length. I would also suggest changing your glasses. They do nothing for you. Some black frames would look nice.

First of all, just check around until you see a style you like. Is there one in particular that you really want to follow? Then you can add your own twist to it so people don't accuse you of copying it and whatnot. You're the only person who can really pick your own style, so just try some different things out and see how it goes!

For that hairstyle, you don't really need much. Just grow your hair, and comb it down around your face until you like how it looks. For the first few days, you might need to use a little hairspray, but only a tiny bit.
And otherwise, you're fine, don't worry about how you look, women prefer personality over looks in the long run, anyway.
