I WANT ONLY MEN TO ANSWER THIS QUESTION BECAUSE I REALLY WANT TO KNOW..... Because it has become popular to be pretty and dumb at the same time, I wanted to know if intelligent women are considered attractive anymore by the opposite sex. Do men even care about a woman's brain anymore? I have been told by various adults in my life that it is what I look like not who I am that will attract the opposite sex to me. It's no wonder I am overweight and alone now. Do I have to bleach my hair blonde and become illiterate in order to attract a mate, since that is what the trend seems to be at this point?

I think most intelligent women are scorned by men because of some macho BS that states that they have to be smarter than their woman, which is total BS as well. Inteligent women are mor elikely to have better jobs, better chances at success and more playful ideas when it comes to a relationship. The "dumb but pretty" flock you are refering to has gotten away with it for far too long, and it wears thin on smart men, because without intellect, they have to rely on someone to support their habits, and also sometimes thier beauty. We tend to live in a visual society, so if you aren't "perfect" then you are not worthy of anything, which too is total BS. I think you are smart and lovely the way you are.
