when i was in 8th grade and even 9th grade, everyone listened to rap and had short hair and wore baggy jeans. any guy that wore girl pants would get made fun of. 10th grade seemed to be a transition year from one trend to another. now, in 11th grade, the style is long hair, tight jeans, and everyone listens to rock. why did styles change so fast?
How and why did styles change so quickly?
because people get bored and when it comes down to it the first people who get into the trend are the ones who want to be "different" to everyone else but then others see what they wear and want to be like them, then you get the people who just want to fit in so they do what everyone else does
but then the peope who did it first arent "different" anymore, they are completely the same as everyone else so they find a new trend and the cycle continues
i think it has alot to do with music choice as new music is always coming up trying to be something new and interesting and the way people dress is really influenced by their music taste these days
in england it was baggy jeans and skater rock, then lots of goths, then emos and now quite a few of them have turned into "scenesters"
