What should I say?

I'm in 8th grade and in a new school and I've noticed some things among my old friends through MySpace...

they're all going "emo".

It seems like they think they're emo because they have side bangs and black %26amp; white pictures. They're not in it for the music, they're in it for the trend. I see so many of the people that used to make me so happy now frowning in every picture, painting their nails black, and hiding behind their hair. I am labelled emo at my new school, and it's a totally different thing over here... but I can't manage to get out of my head the thoughts of my friends that are doing this bull. What should I do? Speak my mind to them? Or say nothing?

I mean, seriously. These were my friends before they had any clue what an 'emo' was.

really. i think they look a billion times better the second way. but whatever people need to get over this emo thing.
