"Scene" kids start bands just to be cool?

There's a whole group of them at my school and they all copy each other on what they do with their hair or what tight jeans to wear, I know it's sounds so fake but i'm not lying the least bit.

They even started a band as to what I'm guessing to get "scene" cred, they're not even that good.

Don't you think this trend is stupid?

I hate it, it's sooo annoying.

i like some of the music like deathcore and pigsqueal that some of the scene kids try to do but over all i think they got tired of being called emo's so the went scene.

im what a discriminating person like yourself would call a scene kid.. and first of all i just dress like a scene kid, i dont have the stereotypical changes in personality so i dont see why we wouldnt be friends, most of my friends dress preppy and so im also not just trying to fit in, i think that the clothes are neat so i buy them just like you buy clothes that you are attracted to.

if you dont like a certain scene kid as a person then thats one thing, but you shouldnt not like all of us just because of what we are stereotyped as.
