Hey Emo Kids...?

You do realize that this is all just a trend right....If you wanna have some idea where you're headed...go to the music store...head to the F section and then look for Flock of Seagulls...take their cd to the counter, and ask the person behind the counter what they think about it....when they laugh and make fun of their hair and clothes, and their terrible music...ask yourself if thats what you want people to do to you for the next 20 years.

Hey Emo Kids...?

yeah, not talking about the music at all, i really dont get the clothes. i work at the local music store (guitars and drums and stuff) and we get a lot of these kids who come in with their pants so tight they cant move, and a lot of the guys are wearing pants that are clearly not made for men. pink stitching, sparkles, etc. and i guess they just dont get that ALL teenagers feel like outcasts sometimes, but whining about it doesnt do crap. especially when you're a rich white kid who's only complaint is that mom and dad only took you to the mall 3 times this week.

at the end of the day though, dress how you want, but when you dye your hair and cut it so that it hangs in your face, then wear clothes with big pink band names on them, dont be surprised that people are staring at you. and for the love of god, dont complain about stuff. life sucks, we get it. now move on and grow a pair.

Hey Emo Kids...?

i say that to them all the time. i hate emos, f*cking twats they are

Hey Emo Kids...?

Dont all kids follow a trend in some way? I bet you were a trend follower at some point but you slowly got out of it. Just because you've had some realizations, doesnt mean others have. Let them learn on their own instead of patronizing them.

Hey Emo Kids...?

LOLOL! This isn't really an answer, but I just had to comment. I've made that same analogy myself. Emo is this generation's glam-pop or hair-rock (both from the 80's). In 10 years people are gonna look back at themselves and just laugh and laugh that they dressed and styled their hair that way. I love rock music, but I'm not getting sucked into this trend. Since when did being a dork become cool?

Hey Emo Kids...?

The hair and the clothes might be a trend but the music is not. Emotional Music is the heart and soul foundation of music world wide. I think people should be able to freely express themselves in fashion whether it be a choppy haircut, or eyeliner, or tight jeans. If you notice history repeats itself in fashion... but then again i think you already brought that up. Like bell bottom jeans in the seventies made their way back in the ninties... relax on the kids dude. Their just trying to have freedom of expression.

Hey Emo Kids...?

I appreciate your answer I know what you mean. All I can say is i'm happy that the emo style isn't that bad compared to other styles and worst of all be happy that all the young ins aren't worshipping the likes of 50 cent= how embarrassing. Everything goes in circles it all comes back so even tho emo gives me the shits and i often wonder who thought of the word its much better than kids walking around in baggy jeans and jackets trying to be homeboy g's in da hood...think about it that would be way worse!lol

Hey Emo Kids...?

why dont you just leave the damn kids alone if they wanna be emo dammit let them be emo dont make a freakin big woop about it
