Is it a bad idea for me to get side-swept bangs?

I hate hair that gets in my face. But I've really been into the whole side-swept bang trend, and I've been wanting to get at least some kind of change for my hair, as I've been really sick of having an open forehead, especially when I put it up in a ponytail.

For those of you who have side-swept bangs, do they get in your face a lot?

no they don't really get in your face a lot. but if you are worried about that, then you can get longer bangs and tuck them behind your ears if they do come in your eyes

I like them. when they get in my way (at the gym or work) I just pin them over the side. I think you should do it.

just make sure they are longer than you want

so you can clip them back if they DO bother you, (maybe into a duff puff? ) and so that you can currently (or soon) get them into a pony tail when you need to.

I have side swept bangs yea they do get in your face a lot but that's why I like them I can hide my face if i was u I would just get regular bands if u don't want your hair face

Not for me , it depends on wear u put ur line on top of ur forhead . But i think its kool when a person puts up their hair and have a side bang on the side :)

If you get a good cut at the right length they shouldn't bother you too much. Ask you stylist to make your bangs fringier, rather than having really heavy bangs hanging in your eyes. You should also be able to blend them into your hair with brush or blowdryer if you don't want bangs that particular day.

Only problem is if you have oily skin, bangs can get greasy from being on your forehead all day.

I havent seen too many girls having problems with their bangs, you can have them cut a little longer so that you can pull them back or pin them. However, before you decide on this hair style, you may want to look at others. This is a very popular hair style and you would be blending into the crowd instead of standing out in it, however the decision would be yours and yours alone.

The shorter they are the more that they are going to get in the way. Start with longer ones so that you can easily pin them back or tuck them behind your ear. Have them NOT start too far over to one side when they begin cutting.
