i wore a bun and i had my hair parted so my bangs were on one side. and it looked pretty cute and i want to wear them for school so i dont know if i should wear the bun cuz no one wears a bun! but its cuter to wear the bun than to have my hair down in a pony tail so what should i do???? do you think if i go to school with a bun ill be a trend setter?

I wear a bun for ballet too, and I wore it to school once. I agree it looks cute, but I don't think it would be much of a trend setter.

I would do a messy bun rather than a neat bun. I used to do it all the time when I was in ballet. You take just two - four of those big bobby pins and let a lot of hair spill out.

try doing a sloppy bun.....

1st put ur hair in a pony tail...

2nd put in a bun and kinda mess it around a lil bit...

then put hairspray in it.....

use extra hair tyes to help keep up hair!

If it looks really good on you, you could very well start a trend. People see things that look really good on other people and wonder if it'll work for them. Then before you know it everyone is doing it.

People are wearing buns these days, but they are modernized versions... like with little spiky bits coming out on purpose.
